This is a rare US trilobite. It is a complete Alokistocare harrisi from the Elrathia Layers of Millard County, Utah. This specimen is from a MAJOR trilobite collection. The bug has both free cheeks and tiny tail intact, which is quite unusual. The thick shell exoskeleton is covered with small bumps and pustules. The black-colored trilobite is ''loose'' - totally free of matrix. This is a very fine example of this multi-segmented trilobite from Utah. (The fossil comes in the display case shown.)
