Here is an interesting trilobite from a majot trilobite collection. This is a rare, complete example of Paedeumias terminatus from the Cararra Formation of California. Complete trilobites from this formation are quite rare and usually quite ugly. This trilobite exhibits very good detail - the individual thoracic segments are well displayed, and the LONG telson (tailspine) is intact and easily seen. The beautiful color of the fossil is quite striking and fully natural. This is a very collectible example of this classic Olenellid trilobite from California.
