Here is a wonderful Canadian trilobite. It is a fine Wanneria sp. from the Lower Cambrian. This specimen is being sold from a MAJOR trilobite collection. This type of trilobite has a large, semi-circular cephalon with sweeping genal spines and relatively small eyes. This prone specimen is unusually well preserved. The bug exhibits superb detail - the eyes are easily seen, and the long pleural spines are beautifully displayed. The trilobite has very nice, natural color and is well displayed on the large, natural block of shale. This is an excellent, complete specimen of this uncommon Lower Cambrian trilobite.
