This is a very sought-after US trilobite. It is a beautiful Zacanthoides typicalis from Nevada. This specimen is being sold from a MAJOR trilobite collection. This bug is very well articulated and has extremely fine detail preserved. The long axial spine is intact and extends WELL past the pygidium. The bug is nicely showcased on the large matrix plate. This is one of the best examples of this type we have ever seen. It is a very nice specimen of this hard-to-find Cambrian trilobite direct from a major collection.
