This is a rare trilobite to find complete. It is a fine Zacanthoides idahoensis from Utah. This specimen is being sold from a MAJOR trilobite collection. The trilobite has both free cheeks preserved and tightly articulated - it is rare to find a Zacanthoides with both free cheeks intact. This specimen also has spiny tail intact and well-preserved. The trilobite was found in a zone where the fossils reflect light and "flash", similar to the Burgess Shale (so the trilobite was hard to photograph). This is a very nice, complete Zacanthoides from the Spence Shale..
