This is a wonderful specimen of an Unidentified Trilobite from the Ordovician of Morocco. This inflated trilobite is complete with both free cheeks intact and tightly attached, which is highly unusual. The bug exhibits very fine detail - the crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen, and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The trilobite has gorgeous, natural RED coloration that contrasts beautifully with the greyish-green matrix. The ancient arthropod is well showcased on the split pair block of shale. This is a very displayable example of this uncommon Ordovician trilobite.
