Here is a fabulous example of a rare Canadian trilobite. This is Ceraurinus marginatus from the Ordovician Layers of Ontario, Canada. Ceraurinus is much more uncommon than Ceraurus from these layers. This specimen came to us from a major trilobite collection. The bug is complete and nicely articulated - aesthetically prone and outstretched. The bug is extremely inflated and exhibits nice detail. The trilobite has very good color and contrast, and is well displayed on the large block of limestone. This is a very fine example of this highly uncommon Cheirurid trilobite from a closed locality in Canada.
