This is a very nice double specimen of Elrathia kingi from the Wheeler Formation of Utah. Both trilobites are large and exhibit fine detail. The bugs are totally natural to the plate - they have not been composited. The left trilobite still has both free cheeks intact and tightly attached. The black trilobites contrast nicely with the grey matrix. The fossils are well positioned and heading in opposite directions on the natural plate of shale. This is a very pleasing double specimen of this famous Cambrian trilobite.
