This is an ultra rare trilobite fossil. It is Anapolenus henrici from the Middle Cambrian of Newfoundland, Canada. This specimen was recently acquired  from the Eugene Thomas Collection and was collected legally in 1988. This location has been closed to collecting for a number of years. This type was found in Newfoundland's "Giant Paradoxides" beds, but are ten times rarer the the Paradoxides! This specimen is outstretched and well articulated. The trilobite has good color and contrast and is well showcased on the natural plate of shale. And this is even a split pair fossil - both halves of the specimen are present...WOW! This may be your only chance to acquire this very rare trilobite from the classic "Giant Paradoxides" beds of Newfoundland.
