This is a very nice double specimen of Elrathia kingi from the Wheeler Formation of Utah. Both trilobites exhibit fine detail and are totally natural to the plate - they have not been composited. The black trilobites contrast beautifully with the grey matrix. The bugs are well positioned on the large, rectangular plate of shale. This is a very fine display specimen of this classic US trilobite.
