This is a prone specimen of Eldredgeops milleri from the Silica Shale of Sylvania, Ohio. This famous site is known for its Phacopid trilobites. Eldredgeops differs from Phacops in having more lenses in the eye and having rounded eye facets. This specimen has excellent eyes. The individual lenses are very well preserved. The specimen has great color and contrast. It is centered on a somewhat rounded piece of shale. There is no restoration on this specimen. This is a very affordable specimen of a complete Eldredgeops from a famous locality.
