Here is a HUGE Cambropallas telesto from the Cambrian of Morocco. This type is one of the most faked or reconstructed trilobites from Morocco. However, there is no mistaking the authenticity of this specimen, as both the part and counterpart are both present. This beautiful specimen is wonderfully articulated and exhibits very fine detail. The broad, sweeping genal spines are clearly defined, and the crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen. The distinct ridges on the middle lobe of the thorax are quite evident, and even the tiny pygidium is intact. The bug has outstanding, natural coloration and contrasts strikingly with the greyish-green matrix. And even the counterpart of this bug is fabulous - what a split pair! This is a very collectible specimen of a real Cambropallas from Morocco.
