This is a very nice, complete specimen of Isotelus mafritzi from the Ordovician of Canada. This trilobite is outstretched and well articulated. The bug exhibits fine detail - the distinct features of this trilobite are easily seen. The dark color of the trilobite contrasts wonderfully with the grey matrix. The fossil is well presented on the squared block of limestone. This is a very fine example of Isotelus from the Ordovician of Ontario.
