Here is a classic US trilobite. This is a fine Greenops barberi from the Devonian of New York. The Greenops trilobite is complete and quite detailed. The broad genal spines are easily seen, and the overall shape is quite nice. The thick-shelled trilobite has great color and contrast. There is a small amount of restoration on the tail, but the trilobite is well presented on the squared block of shale that also includes an enrolled Eldredgeops and a partial Greenops. This is a nice prone example of Greenops from the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry
