This is a classic US trilobite. It is a juvenile Isotelus maximus from Ohio. This type of trilobite is one of the most recognizable trilobites in the world, especially because of its large maximum size. This type of trilobite has also been officially named the ''State Fossil of Ohio''. This specimen is tightly enrolled and easily seen. The bug has very good detail preserved - the genal spines have been preserved fre-standing. The trilobite has been composited with a Rafinesquina brachiopod on a piece of matrix to keep the genal spines from breaking. This is a very nice ''mini'' version of the classic Isotelus maximus trilobite with the long genal spines intact.
