Here is a complete Cordania falcata from the Devonian of Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Eugene Thomas in 1998 and just now prepared. The trilobite is somewhat inflated and exhibits fine detail. Both free cheeks are intact and tight, which is unusual. Under magnification, the extremely small granules can be seen on the cephalon of the trilobite. The individual thoracic segments are quite evident, and the pygidium is present and easily seen. The beautiful butterscotch-colored bug contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The fossil is well displayed on the large, squared block of limestone. This is a very symmetrical specimen of complete Cordania falcata from Oklahoma.
