This is a killer spiny trilobite. It is a fabulous Kettneraspis williamsi from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Eugene Thomas in 1999 and just now prepared. This outstretched trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits excellent detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The long genal spines and the thin pleural spines are beautifully displayed. The protruding eyes are easily seen, and the ''fringes'' of the free cheeks are clearly defined. The inflated bug has great color and contrast and is well showcased on the large, squared plate of marlstone. This is an extremely symmetrical specimen of Kettneraspis from Oklahoma - one of the most displayable examples we've had.
