This is a beautiful specimen of Asaphus (Neoasaphus) punctatus from the Ordovician of Russia. The specimen is beautifully articulated. It is very inflated and has great natural color. The brown trilobite contrasts well with the cream-colored matrix. It is positioned nicely on a natural piece of rock. This is a prime example of this species of trilobite from Russia.
