This is a fabulous specimen of Redlichia (Pteroredlichia) chinensis from the Cambrian of China. This trilobite is large for the type and exhibits fine detail. Usually these trilobites are found with the free cheeks missing - this well-articulated specimen has both free cheeks intact and tightly attached. The long, sweeping genal spines are beautifully displayed, and the individual thoracic segments are easily seen. The bug has very good color and contrast and is well presented on the somewhat rectangular plate. And this is a split pair - both part and counterpart are included here together. This is an excellent example of Redlichia from the Cambrian.
