This is a very displayable spiny trilobite. It is a large Leonaspis from Morocco. This specimen was meticulously prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Preparation Lab here in Colorado, as are all of our Moroccan bugs. This trilobite is complete with both free cheeks tightly attached. The thick shell exoskeleton is beautifully preserved. The protruding spines are long and easily seen. The inflated bug is nicely positioned on the sculpted matrix block. This is a very fine specimen of this spiny Moroccan trilobite.
