This is a complete specimen of Isotelus mafritzi from the Ordovician of Canada. This trilobite is outstretched and well articulated. The bug exhibits fine detail - the distinct features of this trilobite are easily seen. The dark color of the trilobite contrasts wonderfully with the grey matrix. The fossil is well presented on the semi-squared block of limestone. This is a very nice example of Isotelus from the Ordovician of Ontario.
