Here is a complete Cordania falcata from the Devonian of Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Eugene Thomas in 1999 and just now prepared by Mike Thomas. The trilobite is inflated and exhibits fine detail. Both free cheeks and genal spines are intact and tight, which is quite unusual. Under magnification, the extremely small granules can be seen on the cephalon of the trilobite. The individual thoracic segments are quite evident, and the pygidium is present and well displayed. The beautiful cream-colored bug contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The fossil is well showcased on the squared, sculpted block of limestone. This is an excellent, complete specimen of a prone Cordania falcata.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally. A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
