Here is a strange multiple trilobite plate. These trilobites are Elrathia kingi from the Cambrian of Utah. There are three trilobites on the slab - all are laying on top of one another. The prone trilobites are well preserved and exhibit fine detail. The individual thoracic segments are easily seen and the tiny pygidia are present. These ancient arthropods have nice color and contrast and are well positioned on the large, natural plate of matrix that also has a complete Elrathia on the back side. This is a very unusual multiple plate of Elrathia kingi.
