This is an excellent association fossil from the Middle Devonian of New York. This specimen was found years ago at the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry. There are two examples of Eldredgeops rana rana on the plate - both are outstretched, which is quite unusual. The trilobites are inflated and exhibit fine detail. There is also a beautiful Stereolasma rectum horn coral sticking out from under the cephalon of the larger Eldredgeops! The fossils contrast strikingly with the light grey matrix. The specimens are wonderfully showcased on the large matrix plate. This is a very collectible association plate of different fossils from Devonian sea floor of New York.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
