This is a very interesting trilobite from the Devonian of Oklahoma. The trilobite is a very detailed example of Kainops raymondi. This type of trilobite is differentiated from Paciphacops by the larger number of lenses in the eyes. The extremely inflated bug is complete and well preserved in an enrolled position. The fossil has excellent color and contrast and is nicely presented on the squared block of matrix. This is a fine specimen of an enrolled Kainops from the Haragan Formation.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally. A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
