This is a very displayable spiny trilobite. It is a very large Leonaspis from Morocco. This specimen was meticulously prepared under a microscope in the EXTINCTIONS Preparation Lab. This trilobite is complete with both free cheeks tightly attached. The thick shell exoskeleton is beautifully preserved. The protruding spines are very long and easily seen. The colorful bug is nicely showcased on the sculpted matrix block. This is a very fine specimen of this spiny Moroccan trilobite.
