Here is an extremely rare collection of classic Canadian trilobites. These are from the Middle Cambrian of BC, Canada, a locality that includes the famous Burgess Shale, and is of the same age.. There are THREE specimens being offered in this collection. The first specimen is Olenoides serratus, one of the most sought-after trilobites in the world. This outstretched trilobite is very well articulated and quite detailed - the many spines are intact. The next fossil is a DOUBLE Ptychoparella (=Elrathina) cordillerae. Both trilobites are facing the same direction, and both have their free cheeks intact - extremely rare! The third trilobite is unidentified - we have no idea what it is! It also has both free cheeks intact - wow! And, best of all, all three trilobites are offered here together!. This is a unique opportunity to acquire THREE BC trilobites from the famous Burgess Shale area.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
