This is a rare Ordovician association piece. It is a fabulous Flexicalymene granulosa and bryozoans from the Ordovician of Canada. This trilobite is very 3-dimensional and extremely prone. The bug has very thick exoskeleton and exhibits fine detail. The glabella of the trilobite is covered with a multitude of fine pustules, and the large ''shovel lip'' is quite distinct. The brown-black trilobite contrasts nicely with the grey matrix block. The Flexi is well presented on the large plate of limestone that also contains three detailed bryozoa. This is a textbook display plate of Flexicalymene granulosa from Canada.
