This is a very unusual trilobite double that we recently acquired from an old English collection. It is a Whittardolithus inopinatus and Ogygiocarella debuchii from the Ordovician of England. These prone trilobites are well displayed and wonderfully articulated. The detail of both bugs is very easily seen. The unusual anterior fringe of the Whittardolithus is still preserved. The bugs have nice color and contrast and are naturally positioned on the large matrix plate. This is one of the nicest multi-species trilobite specimens from England that we have had.
