This is a very spiny trilobite. It is a complete Koneprusia brutoni from Morocco. This cool specimen was microscopically prepared in the EXTINCTIONS Preparation Lab, and the results are amazing. This trilobite is known for its many long, flowing spines. This large specimen displays the myriad of spines beautifully - it has been prepared with the occipital and axial spines free-standing! The bug is very 3-D and is nicely showcased on the sculpted matrix block. This is very displayable example of Koneprusia brutoni from Africa.
