This is a "different" trilobite from Morocco and we are not really sure what it should be called. The body is much longer and narrower than a Cyphaspis and it has a thoracic spine that is extemely long. It seems to fit the description of Otarion best. The trilobite is very nicely detailed. The pustulose glabella and the stalked eyes are well displayed. The long sweeping genal spines extend past the body of the trilobite. The lengthy thoracic spine is natural and complete to the very tip. The trilobite has great color and contrast. It is somewhat centered on a nice natural piece of matrix. This is an excellent specimen of an Otarion-like trilobite from Morocco.
