Here is a very nice pair of US trilobites. This is Greenops barberi and Eldredgeops rana from the Devonian of New York. These trilobites are almost perfectly prone and wonderfully articulated. The inflated bugs exhibit fine detail. The pointed pygidial lappets of the Greenops are beautifully displayed. The black color of the trilobites contrasts nicely with the grey matrix. The fossil arthropods are well showcased on the large, rounded plate of shale. This is a very good example of Greenops barberi and Eldredgeops rana from the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry.
