This is a beautiful specimen of Crotalocephalus gibbus from the Devonian of Morocco. The natural coloration of this fossil is great. It ranges from a light brown to a dark grayish-brown and contrasts nicely with the matrix. The trilobite has excellent detail. The tubercules on the middle of the thorax and the pits on the fixed cheeks are even evident. The specimen has been prepared with the pygidium in a free-standing position. The tail spines are very prominently displayed. This is a wonderful example of Crotalocephalus gibbus from the Devonian of Morocco.
