Here is a very displayable trilobite specimen from the Devonian of Morocco. There are two excellent examples of Hollardops mesocristata on this block of limestone. This is a NATURAL DOUBLE - no compositing has been done to this extraordinary piece. Both trilobites are complete and wonderfully articulated. The bugs are extremely 3-dimensional and exhibit exquisite detail. The individual lenses of the eyes are easily seen and the long genal spines are beautifully displayed. The pleural spines are intact and the sharply pointed pygidial spines are clearly defined. The natural black trilobites contrast nicely with the light, sculpted matrix. The trilobites are well showcased on the large block of limestone that has been mounted on a round, fossiliferous base. This is a very artistic, top quality double specimen of Hollardops mesocristata from Morocco.
