This is a beautiful trilobite. It is a large Ceraurus plattinensis from Ontario, Canada. This type is one of the hardest Canadian Ceraurus-types to find in nice shape. This one is not only nice, it is fabulous. It has great shell exoskeleton that is very 3-D on the matrix. And the bug is perfectly centered on the squared matrix block. This specimen came from a major trilobite collection, and is destined to find a home in another. This is one of the best Ceraurus plattinensis we have ever had.
