This is a large spiny trilobite. It is a complete Selenopeltis from Morocco. This specimen is real with real spines, unlike some of the Moroccan-prepared specimens. The detail is very good and the dark coloring is natural. The bug is nicely centered on the large matrix plate. This is a great example of this spiny Ordovician trilobite.
