Here is a complete, outstretched Flexicalymene retrorsa from the Ordovician of Ohio. This prone trilobite is inflated and quite 3-D. The bug has very nice articulation with both free cheeks intact. This trilobite exhibits fine detail and has wonderful, thick exoskeleton of a brownish color that contrasts very well with the light grey matrix. The trilobite is nicely displayed on the very large plate of shale. This is a very nice specimen of Flexicalymene retrorsa from Ohio.
