This is an outstanding specimen of Onnia superba from the Ordovician of Morocco. This 3-dimensional trilobite is quite large and exhibits wonderful detail. The punctate ornamentation on the brim of the cephalon is beautifully displayed. The extremely long, thin genal spines extend way past the body of the bug and are clearly defined. The huge, bulbous glabella and free standing occipital spine are easily seen, and even the tiny, triangular pygidium is intact. The light brown trilobite contrasts nicely with the cream colored matrix. The bug is wonderfully presented on the rectangular plate of limestone. This is a stunning example of this Trinucleid trilobite from Morocco.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
