This is a classic trilobite. It is an Isotelus maximus from Cincinnati, Ohio. This type of trilobite is the State Fossil of Ohio. This specimen is outstretched and nicely centered on the matrix block. The genal spines extend all the way to the pygidium. Also, there is a hypostoma (mouthplate) on the plate - this is natural and NOT added on. This is a fine example of the Ohio State Fossil.
