This is a very nice example of an extremely unusual trilobite. This is a very rare Modocia sp. This type is different than most Modocia - it has small spines on the axial lobe. This trilobite is complete with both free cheeks intact. The fossil is well showcased on the large plate of shale. This is a fine example of this very uncommon spiny trilobite from Utah.
This specimen was found on leased ground, and is therefore legal to sell.
