This is an excellent multiple trilobite specimen. This plate has FOUR specimens of Asaphiscus wheeleri from the Cambrian of Utah. Multiple examples of Asaphiscus are very uncommon. The trilobites are very nicely preserved and wonderfully articulated. These ancient arthropods exhibit fine detail - the individual segments are easily seen, and the broad, flat brims of the pygidia are nicely displayed. The bugs have thick, black exoskeleton and contrast nicely with the grey matrix block. The trilobites are well centered on the large plate of shale. This is a very uncommon multiple specimen of Asaphiscus from Utah.
