This is a very rare Elrathia kingi from the Middle Cambrian of Utah. This HUGE trilobite (1 3/4 inches long!) is complete and nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The rare part is that the trilobite is a split pair! Elrathia are usually found with no counterpart - one with both halves is quite uncommon. And not just any old one - a very large and complete one! This is a top quality part / counterpart Elrathia trilobite - probably the best one that we have ever had.
