This is a very interesting trilobite from the Devonian of New York. This fine specimen was found by Steve Hess in the 1980's at the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry. The trilobite is a very detailed example of Eldredgeops rana rana. This extremely inflated bug is complete and well preserved in an enrolled position. The fossil has excellent color and contrast and has been fully extracted from the surrounded matrix. This is a fine, complete specimen of an enrolled Eldredgeops rana rana from the Moscow Formation.
