This is a wonderful specimen of Pseudolenus sarouni from the Cambrian of Morocco. This inflated trilobite is complete with both free cheeks intact, which is highly unusual. The bug exhibits very fine detail - the crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen, and the individual thoracic segments are clearly defined. The distinct trilobite has gorgeous, natural orangish coloration that contrasts beautifully with the greyish-green matrix. The ancient arthropod is well centered on the natural block of shale. And this is a split pair fossil - both the part and counterpart is present. This is a very nice example of this uncommon species of Pseudolenus.
