This is a wonderful specimen of Kettneraspis williamsi from the Devonian of Oklahoma. The trilobite is very inflated and well articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The well-preserved trilobite is quite prone and exhibits excellent detail. The protruding eyes are easily seen, and the long, sweeping spines are complete to the very tips. Even the ''fringes'' on the free cheeks are intact. But the coolest feature of this trilobite is that it has been bitten on the right side - a long pleural spine has been bitten off, and the right genal spine is regenerated and very short! This is a great example of this classic spiny trilobite from the Haragan Formation.
