This is a beautiful specimen of Dalmanites limulurus from the Silurian of New York. The prone specimen is a dark brown color on a gray shale. It is nicely positioned on a somewhat squared slab of matrix. The trilobite has good detail and is very well articulated. The facets are easily seen on the compound eyes. This is a great specimen of Dalmanites from New York.
