This is an excellent example of a classic trilobite. This is a complete Elrathia kingi from Utah. This type is usually found under one inch in size - this specimen is a notch larger than normal. The trilobite has nice articulation and fine detail preserved. The fossil is well showcased on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a large, displayable example of Elrathia from Utah.
