As everyone knows, complete Carboniferous trilobites are quite rare, and ones in association with crinoids are even rarer. This is an excellent enrolled specimen of Breviphillipsia sampsoni from the Mississippian of Missouri. The trilobite is beautifully preserved and exhibits the fine granulation of the exoskeleton in wonderful fashion. This enrolled specimen is tightly enrolled and nicely inflated. The trilobite is sitting on a very nice example of a Choteau crinoid. This is a very unusual set of distinct Mississippian fossils from Missouri.
