This is a very nice double specimen of Elrathia kingi from the Wheeler Formation of Utah. Both trilobites exhibit fine detail - one has its free cheeks intact. The bugs are totally natural to the plate - they have not been composited. The black trilobites contrast beautifully with the grey matrix. The fossils are well showcased on the large plate of shale. This is a very fine double specimen of this classic US trilobite.
