This is a classic US trilobite. It is an Olenellus thompsoni from Pennsylvania. This specimen came from an old collection - it was found over 25 years ago at the famous Fruitville Quarry site. This specimen has good detail preserved. The natural, yellowish coloration is quite nice. This fossil also has its counterpart intact (not pictured). This is a fine study example of this rare trilobite.
